An easy way to treat buccal canine malocclusion: A case report

An ectopic tooth is one that erupting in an aberrant route, whereas impacted has failed to fully erupt into the oral cavity within its expected developmental time period and can no longer be do so. The majority of canine eruption abnormalities occur two directions: palatal or buccal displacement from usual eruptive location 2. Permanent maxillary impaction affects about 1-2 percent general population. Canines are palatally displaced twice as common those buccally placed. Buccally canines, on other hand, very prevalent practice their etiology related a deficient dental arch perimeter 3,4. So, purpose this report show case 15-year-old male with canines who was treated by extracting four first premolars, using segmental T loops for retraction canines. goals were met at end treatment optimal aesthetic balance excellent occlusal connections, resulting great long-term stability.
